Money is a tool

Recently, a well-known entrepreneur from Shark Tank Vietnam made headlines — not for another impressive deal, but for being under police investigation. His assets are frozen, and he’s being accused of fraud (“lừa đảo”) involving one of his technology ventures, possibly in the crypto space.

I’m not here to talk about how much money he had in the bank or how many houses he owned. What interests me is how his fall reveals something deeper about the mindset many entrepreneurs carry.

Just a few years ago, I watched his videos. He was young, ambitious, and passionate about entrepreneurship. His words inspired many — and truthfully, I resonated with a lot of what he said. But if the investigation turns out true — if thousands of investors were misled and funds were mishandled — then somewhere along the journey, he made a wrong turn.

⚖️ The Power (and Price) of Decision-Making

In business, there are countless ways to create value and serve people. But one universal truth remains — karma is real.

Every decision we make carries energy. When we build on integrity, our success compounds. When we chase shortcuts or justify the wrong means, it always comes back around.

You can build an empire, make millions, and inspire thousands — but the moment you lose integrity, it all collapses. Business is built on trust. Once you trade that for quick gain, you’re digging your own grave.

You can still build a high-value, profitable business — without losing your soul — if you stay true to your purpose.

Why did I start this? Am I genuinely solving people’s problems? Would I still make this decision if no one was watching?

Because at the end of the day, money is a tool — not the goal.

There’s a point in life where no matter how much you earn, it doesn’t change your happiness. You only need so much to live comfortably. Beyond that, what truly matters is how many lives you’ve impacted.

The right path is often harder, slower, and lonelier — but it’s the one that lasts.

So as entrepreneurs, creators, and dreamers, let’s remind ourselves:

Money can buy freedom, but only integrity keeps it.
